Almost Time To Pop - Chantal

Recently my friend Chantal sent me a photograph of just how big she's gotten after our last shoot and I simply had to make use of these scorcher days to do an outdoor shoot. Its just a little under 3 weeks before she'll be popping out her little boy :)

Skater Boi: Matt - Scottsdene Skate Park

He glides across the skate park on his board with such ease. If only I could do that (yeah right).

Matthew, my skater boi friend struts his stuff effortlessly as the other kids watch and try to imitate him. His been skating on and off for the past four years, but had to stop for two years due to a back operation he underwent (and no, skateboarding was not the cause). Hope the pics does his talent justice...

Jolly Jenna's 5th Birthday Party - Westridge Gardens

She greets with smiling eyes as she welcomes her guests. This little model turned 5 on the 11/12/2011. I look at her wondering if I could bottle up that cuteness and take it home with me. She jumps and laughs and plays with vigour that makes you want to be a kid again. Her care-free spirit rejuvenates my tired body as I photograph her jumping around with the other kids. Her mom is truly blessed with a jewel for a daughter :-)

Sweet Skyla

She is sleeping as we arrive at Bugz Playpark in Joostenberg Vlakte, then suddenly awakes in total confusion as to where we are and what exactly we are doing there. To my surprise, she is not a grumpy little one when she wakes up (as I sometimes am *blushing*) and gets with the programme immediately. She run's care-free, enjoying the bubbles her mom are blowing at her as she tries to catch them. She has a quiet, fun-loving nature about her as she continues through the playpark exploring her environment reminding of the wise words of Muhammad Ali - "Children make you want to start life over."

The Modest Male - Lincoln

He struggles to control his laughter as he looks into the lens of the camera. It doesn't feel right he tells me. That's my God-fearing friend Lincoln. He has the look but would never admit it. And rightly so! He is one genuinely, down-to-earth guy that has the utmost respect for EVERYONE from his mother to the stranger in the street. And it gives me chills to know that I know a guy like this :) The camera definitely loved him!
